Pray for Peace in the Middle East 8/5/24

Friends we need to be KEEPING Israel and the US in prayer. There is a major teetering going on right now and things could very easily spin out of control. We need to be aware and focused on the things that are at a tipping point and pray for the Father to intervene on the global stage. Iran is expected to attack Israel again in some capacity in the immediate which could bring a much broader conflict and drag the US into war in the MIddle East. It's never just about our issues with one nation, it is the larger overall global picture of how each piece connects to another. Tomi Arayomi has released much prophecy and instruction for prayer in recent months, all aimed at at least delaying WW3 - which is the enemies plan.

Believers are often focused on the effects, such as famine, food shortages, power and communication outages and stock market crashes but the thing we often need to be praying for God to intervene in is the CAUSE of these events. It is most likely that if these situations eventually occur, it will be as an effect of something(s) much greater in scope that causes them. War is one of those distinct possibilities. This is why intercession is so key. God will defend Israel. The last time this happened a few months back, Iran fired 300 rockets at Israel and none were successful in inflicting damage or casualties. I believe all but one or a couple were intercepted.

Obviously only the hand of God can do that. The issue is not the safety of Israel although we do need to pray for Israel and the safety of the innocent everywhere. The issue is the larger scope of what a genuine full-scale or longer term attack on Israel would mean in terms of regional conflict and the US government's response. Iran is obviously in league with Russia, China and North Korea so war with Iran has the potential to initiate global conflict very quickly. All of these things are teetering daily in recent times. I believe many Christians are aware of these realities but many are also not aware.

I just heard the expression in my spirit - "Coming home to roost." What this expression means is that the past actions of a person, group or country are now appearing as consequences in front of them in a way that they have to deal with the fallout. It's a time when judgement is at the door for many individuals and for many nations. Ask the Lord to give you a heart to seek to walk in His holiness as never before and for His mercy and grace to be upon the nations of the earth. In the legal world, a stay of execution would mean that the final judgement or wrath of those in authority against a convicted person would be halted and mercy would intervene, at least momentarily.

We need to pray for the Lord to show us and others mercy during this time as things such as wars and global conflict can often manifest as an example of God's judgement to purge the evil from His people and from those who are operating in an antichrist agenda. In other words, when people are determined to go their own way and to ignore the conviction and Lordship of Jesus, eventually the Lord will allow them to go on in their destructive ways and reap the wrath that comes from sowing that kind of seed consistently. It's time to stop simply visiting the house of God and it's time to truly become a living, breathing temple of the Holy Spirit, as judgement begins with the house of God - just in case anyone thought we were off the hook and things were great. God's people win, but there is always a heavy cost! Pray friends!

Target More Than Missed the Target 5/28/2023

I think boycotts can be effective in general when you want to affect the well-being of major companies due to their obvious error. This Target situation however, is a whole different level. Honestly, I don’t know that believers should shop there again moving forward. Any correction on their part at this point would simply be to keep some semblance of stock value.

When they say “it’s all about the money” they weren’t talking about 2023 America. These companies have made it about something else entirely, believing that the voice of righteousness can be simply turned off like a switch and that those who stand for truth will just go with the flow. If you haven’t watched any of the videos circulating online, demonstrating actual merchandising that has been taking place in the stores, take a few minutes and educate yourself.

Legitimate satanic merchandise encouraging kids to befriend Satan, “who accepts them exactly as they are” rather than the God of the Bible. The boys department looks exactly like the girls department. People shopping cannot tell the difference between the departments in some of these stores. This is not simply a matter of one side or another overreacting.

When a person, group or company makes an intentional decision to fully open the door to the demonic at this level, there is a spirit that comes in and rests upon and within everything that they do moving forward. To partner with that spirit or ideology is not just unwise, but at some point it’s crossing a major moral line for people who profess to know Jesus.

In every corner of this nation, there are movements brewing or in some cases almost fully established, to silence Christian voices and to fully remove all forms of morality and truth from the equation.

If there is ever going to be a time in your life when you begin to take a stand against this woke ideology that you process to despise, this is that time. Stop funding the antichrist spirit who wants to indoctrinate and steal your children and eradicate everything about the God that you serve from culture.

One of the biggest weaknesses of the western church is often our inability to do things collectively at the same time. Coordinating anything effective in the realm of a corporate uniform response publicly to these things seems to be impossible. This is a time to respond with solidarity when it comes to where we will spend our money or what we will allow to simply control us as a byproduct of a fallen world that is falling faster every day. Is there not a cause?

1 Kings 19:18 “Yet I reserve seven thousand in Israel—all whose knees have not bowed down to Baal and whose mouths have not kissed him.”

Forgiveness and Humility in the Body of Christ 8/19/2022

In the past month or so, the Lord has sent 4 different people to me for the purpose of repenting and asking forgiveness and reconciling with me over things that the enemy tried to create division over, pretty much all of which was untrue. In every case, regardless of any pain caused, I am thrilled to have the opportunity for reconciliation and more wholeness in the body of Christ. Even if you are not walking in unforgiveness, the lack of closure in areas of offense or hurt creates a doorway that the enemy can come through over and over until it is closed by the Spirit of God through healthy reconciliation. In general, I have never been a person who holds a grudge. I’m honestly too practical for that. It’s black-and-white in the word of God. The Father and Jesus were one and Jesus said His greatest desire was that we would be one. It’s not that I don’t feel pain, or that I never feel offended. When we respond that way however, it is usually because we have hurt upon hurt, multiple woundings that become too much for us and eventually cause us to lash out in the hurt instead of letting God use us to bring the healing. I am so proud of people who have the humility and the love and the guts to bring peace and reconciliation in areas where maybe the enemy caused them to act out of their flesh or somehow be part of relationship breaking down. Even if I know I haven’t done anything wrong and even if the other person confirms that, I will always apologize myself and ask forgiveness for any offense I may have caused. Why? Why would I do that even if I know that it wasn’t my fault?

Because it’s not about me. Paul talks in one place about his conscience being clear, but that just because his conscience is clear did not mean he was innocent. He said the Lord alone would judge him. There were times in my life when I apologized to people that I absolutely did nothing to, only to bring healing to their hostility towards me… Which was actually coming by a very obvious spirit of division upon their life due to their own woundedness. The reason the Lord would do this was for the purpose of reconciliation. We don’t always have to be right. We always have to be RIGHTEOUS and although our righteousness comes through Jesus, there are very specific instructions in the Bible for how to stay in that place with the Lord… which unforgiveness can quickly defile. Without question, the most grievous offenses I have ever been the recipient of in my lifetime have come from other believers or leaders. Most of the time, you can easily pick up any Bible in any translation and immediately dissolve or diffuse these offenses by following very simple and loving biblical protocol. Why do we in the body of Christ so often ignore biblical instruction in these matters? It is because we are offended. We care more about our reputation or our own name or ministry or agenda than we do about honoring and magnifying the name of Jesus first and foremost.

When you are in ministry, it is unbelievable sometimes the tactics that the enemy will use to try to destroy relationships, disrupt unity, try to get you to quit because your heart can’t handle any more hurt. This year and really the last few years have been a time of character building for us in the area of not walking in offense regardless of what people do or say about us. I’m not gonna tell you it’s easy. I do have a flesh that is supposed to be dead, crucified with Christ, but still likes to rise up and respond sometimes when it’s been poked enough. I have been sensing the past couple of days that the Lord is going to have unity become front and center again in the days ahead. I’m talking about, within the immediate days ahead, the Lord is going to be reconciling a lot of relationships and also causing people to operate in humility and love to cover over old offenses and wounds. We use the word unity often in our generation, just as we like to throw the word repentance in to legitimize conversations around revival etc. However, what does real unity look like? You don’t have to walk with a person relationally in order to be in right relationship with them before the Lord. Read that again. You don’t have to be friends with your abusers in order to love them like Jesus. You don’t have to remarry a spouse that you divorced years ago in order to get that hostility and anger out of your heart. So much brokenness in this generation is because of fractures in relationship that either never needed to happen or could’ve happened in a healthy way instead of a worldly way.

The world says to just reject people, kick them to the curb, get yours, win at all costs, get them before they get you. This is never ever the way that believers are called to operate. The Bible tells us to cover over offenses, not to keep a record of wrongs and to do everything possible within our own power to live in unity and peace with everybody. Do you know what’s a more powerful story than you sharing once again how you were wronged by somebody? Sharing the story of reconciliation and how Jesus turned a situation around so that the enemy didn’t win, causing a root of bitterness to spring up that defiled many. If you’re not handling it like Jesus told you to handle it, stop attaching His name to it when you talk about the person or the situation. It is high past time that we need to be reconciled with each other so that we can become truly reconciled with the Lord. We need to get over ourselves church. It is so much easier to love than it is to hate or resent people. Too many believers feel like they have to keep their head down, to avoid situations or gatherings or for that matter, even regions, because of the discord that has been sown against them over and over.

Become a peacemaker. Have the uncomfortable conversations. Be willing to be naked and transparent before those that you have a painful history with. Not everybody is safe to do this with, we need grace and we need wisdom. Most people and most situations, there is a way to bring wholeness. Ask the Lord. Let him decide for you who and what you are to address in love so that you can be made whole again yourself. Lord Jesus, let the body of Christ become one again as You and the Father are one.

Calling Unhealthy What It Is 8/7/22

There was a lot of extreme unhealthiness in many of the old time Christian communities growing up. Sitting here thinking this morning after a convo we just had with Jacoby about appropriate church attire - many of the “mature” believers from yester-year were much more zealous for keeping young people from wearing hats in church than they ever were about helping those young people truly mature in Christ or find their purpose in life. Well, truth be told, you cannot impart what you don’t have yourself. Even many of those considered great men or women of God or “faith giants” had no clue how to steward and raise up people and never grew beyond their own church’s ideology themselves. Church (the building and the emphasis of all the rules attached to it) was often an idol that kept people from actually knowing the risen Christ personally. Man, I saw and heard (and EXPERIENCED) a lot of damaging stuff over the years. Thankfully however, the Lord uses all of it and any place two or more are gathered in His name He is there in the midst. That’s why no matter how much of the gospel of the kingdom people fully walk in or don’t walk in, God still shows up and does as much as He’s permitted to do in those places.

Having traveled throughout some of those places recently, I am baffled at some of the things that come up in conversation that reveal just how far out of any sense of balance or normal much of that still is. Having been part of raising up or helping to facilitate various communities and groups over the years that are focused on revival, breakthrough, true deliverance, growth, impartation, calling greatness out of people and genuinely walking with them in the day to day, it’s an incredibly stark contrast from what the old church streams thought was normal or healthy. The kingdom is bigger than your church. The kingdom is bigger than your ministry. The kingdom functions through unity, being one as Jesus and the Father are one. The five fold ministry still exists primarily to equip the Saints for the work of ministry. It does not exist to simply lord your own ministry over them. If you are a pastor or function in any of the other offices of the five-fold ministry, you are responsible to raise up men and women of God and to reproduce yourself. Not simply to make them dependent upon you, but to help them become a powerful living epistle themselves.

If you cannot let go of any of your own ministry, platform, personal time etc. to actually invest in those God has entrusted to you, you will give an account for it. Discipleship is a lifestyle thing and absent of love, it will not happen. You cannot love ministry more than you love the people God has called you to lead. First and foremost, you need to love the Lord and you need to love His people. Have you mentored anybody? Have you spiritually fathered or mothered anybody when you were not on the clock so to speak, conducting your services? Have you called greatness out of anybody? Have you helped them find their spiritual gifts? Have you helped them have a safe space to learn to operate in those things God has gifted them with? Have you created consumers that are dependent upon you or are you creating producers who can stand soundly on their own 2 feet and demonstrate Christ to those around them? Do you want them to serve you or serve Jesus. Do you want people to be limited to bringing others to your church as a means of evangelizing and keeping them so you can add to your number or do you want them to be empowered to evangelize, heal the sick, bring deliverance, prophesy and restore the hurting themselves? So many thoughts today, not enough room for it all.

Experience vs. Encounter 3/11/2022

Are you seeking experiences to fix you momentarily or are you seeking encounters with the Lord that will mark you and change you forever?

We can either pursue experiences or we can pursue encounters. Experiences will momentarily fix our emotions but this is always temporal or fleeting. Encounters cause us to change from the inside out because when you have seen Jesus and tasted of Him at more than just an experiential level it causes us to realize we cannot stay the same. Encounters cause us to maintain in the times that follow because we can’t stay the same when we are consistently encountering the power and love of God in the person of Jesus. If we are experience based we will be emotionally based and all of that is shifting sand. You cannot build on a foundation of emotional experiences and expect the house to stand beyond today. Truth is the only sure foundation to build on. If we always believe our emotions and seek to assuage them by experiences (depending on another atmosphere or reality to reset us) than we become a slave to having to be in the right temperature and around the right people in order to cope. Ask the Lord for a lifestyle of encounters with Him. Real encounter with the Lord (holy of holies) will cause us to realize our own brokenness and do something about it (truly repent) so that we can be washed and transformed. Instead of constantly asking God what He has for you selfishly, begin learning more about who HE is and what He may be requiring of you in order that we can become more like Him.

Romans 12:2 - Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind (YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.) Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Acts 17:27 - God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us

Shifts Coming in the Prophetic 1/1/2022

Prophetic people primarily speak from the gift. Prophets, oracles of God, often speak under the unction which is more like a faucet that runs continually when you open your mouth, often with little to no mental processing. It is literally speaking by the Spirit from your spirit without first forming thoughts about what you are going to say. Preaching under the unction is similar. This does not mean that prophets always need to be continually prophesying or that they are better than anyone else.

The reality is, the Lord releases this gift and outpouring through those He has tested and refined, usually over and over again. The vast majority of genuine prophets called to the office as a spokesperson for the Lord have been through incredible pain, trials, rejection and testing. Sometimes even the promotion into deeper levels by the Lord can bring fresh wounding from those things over and over. When the Spirit of prophecy, the testimony of Jesus, rests upon an individual or ministry, it is more important to focus on what is said and to act in obedience to it.

With this type of prophecy or demonstration of the word of the Lord, there will often come a shift in the atmosphere and a greater sense of the holiness, fire and preparation of the Lord personally and corporately. Words will not fall flat in the way that they often do in religious or hyper spiritual spheres. There are those upon whom the Spirit of God rests to speak His heart, His will, His perfect word that causes people to align with Him in a timely and literal way in the moment that He speaks. It is very important not to miss those moments or what He is saying or requiring of us.

Aligning with this type of outpouring of revelation and unity in the Spirit of God can catapult you and refusing to move or budge in response to it can seriously inhibit you. We are going into a season where obedience to the word of the Lord in your life, meaning primarily words that are spoken by those standing in the counsel of the Lord, will be extremely important. Many are asking God to speak to them or asking for another word or direction continuously but not being obedient to what has already been spoken.

The age of prophetic manipulation, fun and games, prophetic training without character training or requirements to walk in personal purity and holiness is drawing to a close now. The real word of the Lord is going to begin to come forth in a much more powerful and direct way in the days ahead and people will find themselves coming under this type of unction of the Holy Spirit in ways that require them to make a choice in response to the words God is speaking. Don’t take it lightly. I long for the day when the genuine prophetic is married to the outpouring of the power of God and the anointing of the Holy Spirit that brings genuine wisdom, direction, correction, exhortation and counsel.

End of Year Encouragement

Hey everyone,

2022 is upon us! The year of the "Make-up". I believe that Jesus will be giving many a restart, like a second chance to step into things that were promised last year, but never manifested. Many have felt robbed by circumstances FAR beyond their control over the past two years and have not yet stepped back into the fullness of what God has for them. I believe many things are going to be restored to families and households this year, directly by the hand of the Lord. We have to be able to accurately balance the end times we are living in with the reality that we are the generation that God chose at this point in history to carry the gospel and the fullness of the Kingdom message in our generation.

We are chosen for such a time as this but at the same time we are to always be in a position of "looking up" for our redemption draws nigh. Nothing less than 100% focus on the Lord and what He is requiring of us will do in our generation. We are both privileged and pressed, tested and tried, walking in resurrection power and yet given over to death for Jesus' sake (2 Corinthians 4:11). What a time to be alive. It's an important time to "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" as my wife loves to say, to determine that you are going to operate in hope and faith and REFUSE to be taken out by the waves of discouragement that are endlessly pounding against us.

If you are not full of the word, you may not make it. If you are not connecting with HEALTHY community in the body of Christ, you may not make it. If you are not keeping Jesus at the center, standing with your feet firmly planted on the rock, you may not make it. The greatest test of our generation (up to this point) has been fully unleashed against us, so what is our response going to be? In sports, championships are won or lost in the final moments. Jesus asked the question, "when the son of man comes back, will he find faith on the earth." We have been shaken, tested, refined and experienced birth pangs of persecution. How will we respond? We will respond like champions.

I pray that the Lord increases your faith exponentially as you seek Him going into the New Year. I ask the Lord to blow the dust off the dreams and visions He has given you that have been lying dormant or flatlined because of this great season of testing. I ask the Lord by His Ruach HaKodesh to breathe life on those things through the power of His Spirit. No matter where you find yourself at the end of 2021, you are still here and you are still in a position to choose life over cursing and death. Sickness, poverty, depression and despair, loss and fear are all defeated by the cross. It's a done deal. We just have to walk in the overcoming power Jesus has already given us.

It's not enough to just know that these things are true. They have to be intentionally pulled from the realm of the Spirit to manifesting in the flesh. You can only serve the Lord at the level He desires from us with fierce intensity, not with passive submission. We operate from rest but in that place, MUCH is still required in order to hold fast and not miss the mark. What a test! Your faith should look different and quite honestly, be at a different level now than it was two years ago. If it's not, ask the Lord to increase you in the areas of your heart or belief system that are weak or calloused. No hard hearts. The day we are in requires sensitive hearts and listening ears. I don't care what denomination or theology you embrace, you cannot argue with the direct instructions of Jesus is Revelation 2 and 3 to the 7 churches. READ IT! Then READ IT AGAIN! Keep guard over your heart and allow the Holy Spirit to keep you soft and pliable so you can make it through all of the narrow spaces that we are walking through in this time. It will get harder in some ways, but Jesus is the 4th man in the fire! Blessings and favor to you in 2022! You are never alone, so don't believe it for a moment. He is with you!

It’s Not About the Validation of Man

True story -

Sometimes the Lord will allow the very people who should be recognizing the work of the Spirit in your life to be the ones who overlook you or misjudge your value or role in the kingdom. Leaders aren’t perfect, often far from it and very very human. This can be true of one ministry to another, pastor to pastor, prophet to prophet and beyond. Sometimes I am baffled by the inability or willingness of some leaders to connect, recognize the value of others pulling the same weight, walking in similar calling etc. But those people don’t assign value or approval to us. We have to stop being broken by whether or not a leader or ministry accepts or validates us. Not all will. Some may know that I share a testimony of being literally the only person who applied to Bible school when I was 18 and NOT being accepted at the same school that many people I knew were going to. The only one not accepted. It was because one person didn’t see my value and misrepresented me on paper, unaware of their own religious spirit. They were a well known last name and so the reference stuck, even though the others were fine. I realized later despite being broken-hearted, the Lord did not want me at that school because it would have broken me and inundated me with religious theology and suffocated the call of God on my life. Many I knew who went there later (quickly in some cases) stopped following the Lord, lost their footing or never ended up going into ministry. About 5 years ago I was assisting with some ministry needs at a conference in Hartford. As I was standing and ministering prophetically to people in front of the booth I was running, next to a booth for a Bible college, something dawned on me. There had been a man sitting there representing that college for people interested in applying. He was bored and more interested in his computer than he was connecting with people. He spoke to very very few people there over the two days. As I looked at the college name on the second day it occurred to me that this was the same college that had later changed their name and moved. I quickly looked it up to confirm and found I was correct. 20 years after the pain of that trial, the Lord was still producing kingdom fruit in my life, even in the presence of those that had rejected me. I spoke with the man before leaving and shared my story. It was clear from his responses that he knew a mistake had been made. But it wasn’t a mistake really, it was the order and timing of God. When you get tossed in a pit and sold into slavery by those who can’t envision your dream or your value, it’s simply your own process towards your own destiny beginning. Jesus always redeems it. This is for someone(s) today. Be still and know that He sets the order of your life, not man. Obedience will take you where man cannot or will not take you.

- Love and Blessings Charles

12/8/2021 His Heart for Our Generation

His Heart for Our Generation

Hey friends,

I will be posting steady blog updates to this page covering all things Kingdom. We are at a tipping point as we have left one era and entered another over the past two years. This season is for the mature and seasoned warriors who have spent years in the refining processes that God requires of those who will carry Him to all four corners of the earth. He has released such amazing treasures to our generation but it is futile to think we will walk in the fullness of those things without opposition. Each generation of Kingdom warriors have something required of them, a challenge or crisis that must be met in order that the gospel would continue to advance and the name of Jesus will increase in the earth, despite whatever challenges we are faced with.

Acts 13:36 says “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. “ This is such a powerful statement. We cannot serve God’s purposes for another generation. The great commission doesn’t change, however the Spirit gives different emphasis of wisdom and revelation to each generation depending upon what is required of that generation. The world we are currently living in is in crisis. There is an accelerated and unparalleled hurtling towards the end of time. It’s important that we recognize the signs of the times while still fulfilling the purpose that God destined for us in our own generation. He chose each one of us to occupy seats of His authority and power during the most crucial our in history.

Romans 8:18 says “All of creation is groaning, waiting in eager expectations for the children of God to be revealed.” That’s us. It’s talking about the manifestation of the power and glory of God, which we have an obligation to exemplify in our generation. If not us, who? He didn’t choose anyone else to stand in this new decade fraught with challenges, fear and opposition to truth. He chose us to be a beacon, a voice and a sound in the land that offers hope, points the way to truth and reflects the heart of the Father. We have a weighty responsibility upon us as the most well-equipped generation in many centuries. Never has prayer, fasting, true community or most of all love, been more important.

We need to be about the Father’s business because night time is swiftly approaching when no man can work (John 9:4). It’s time to be equipped by the Spirit for the task at hand. It’s not a time to follow man, seek platforms or build our brand. It’s time to be real, vulnerable and to genuinely care more about reflecting the heart of Jesus for this generation than we do Christian commercialism. Will you be a voice? Voices often suffer, they are martyred, they are misunderstood, they give everything. Start where you are. You don’t need a plan, the plan is already in place. Know Him and make Him known. Jesus is with you. Ask for His heart. Love and blessings, Charles
